Last night was perhaps Jonjo Shelvey’s greatest moment in a Liverpool shirt to date, stepping up to the plate and showing the even younger members of the club’s experimental Europa League side how it is done, by scoring a brace to secure victory in a pulsating eight-goal thriller.
