Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports posted a tweet involving Crystal Palace, Galatasaray and Patrick van Aanholt.
Sky Sports revealed that the Turkish giants have offered the £12 million left-back a three-year contract.
Van Aanholt’s deal with Crystal Palace expires in June, and it seems as if Galatasaray are keen to have him on board.
Why does this concern Leeds fans, you might ask?
Well, Turkish news outlet Milliyet claimed that Galatasaray were closing in on the signing of Ezgjan Alioski, who is also out of contract this summer.
Interestingly, it seems as if the Süper Lig outfit have earmarked the two Premier League regulars as potential arrivals ahead of next season.
Some Leeds fans seem to think that this news means Galatasaray have chosen the Dutchman instead of their No.10.

It remains to be seen what happens, but you can understand why they might think that.
Funnily enough, this news involves Leeds in another way.
According to the Mirror, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are interested in signing Van Aanholt themselves, and want to beat Arsenal to his signature.

Bizarrely, we could possibly see a transfer merry-go-round here, in which Alioski joins Galatasaray and Van Aanholt replaces him at Elland Road.
We’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
For now, let’s see what the Leeds fans on Twitter have been saying about the tweet from Sky Sports…
