Aston Villa assistant manager could not confirm nor deny the rumours about John McGinn’s dig at Sean Dyche in an Instagram Live story.
McGinn went viral this week, when it was claimed that took a dig at Dyche’s clothing on the Football Ramble.
But Villa assistant Terry says that he is unsure whether the claims are true or not.
Terry did, however, suggest that McGinn isn’t in his good books right now, as he nutmegged him in training yesterday.
“I don’t know actually,” Terry laughed. “But Ginns, if you’re watching, Ginns nutmegged me yesterday and I was keen for the lads to nutmeg him because he’s always megging people, so I’ve gone in and he’s nutmegged me! So Ginns if you’re watching…
“What a player John McGinn is by the way, as well.”
McGinn’s aggressive streak is what makes him such a valuable asset to his Villa team.
The Scot presses intensely and is now one of the first names on Dean Smith’s side’s teamsheet.
McGinn and Villa will next be in action on Saturday, when the claret and blues take on Brighton & Hove Albion.
