Rodney Marsh has praised Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford on Twitter.
The former Manchester City and Fulham forward was impressed by a save that Pickford made late in the first half of the Premier League game against Burnley away from home at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, as shown below.
How did Jordan Pickford play against Burnley?
Some of Pickford’s performances this season have not been great, and there have been criticisms levelled against him.
However, against Burnley on Saturday afternoon, the 26-year-old played well and was a key factor in the Toffees picking up a point at Turf Moor courtesy of a 1-1 draw.
As Marsh noted, the former Sunderland goalkeeper made a great save in the first half, and the England international also denied Chris Wood in the second period.
Disappointing result for Everton
Everton will be disappointed with the final result, as they will have certainly wanted to pick up all three points from the encounter.
The Clarets are in danger of going down to the Championship at the end of the season, and the Toffees will consider the result as two points dropped.
