Danny Murphy has praised Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko on Match of the Day on BBC One for his performance against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has said that Zinchenko was “terrific” for Arsenal against Leicester.
The £30 million (Sky Sports) Ukraine international started at left-back.
The former Manchester City star is also able to operate as a midfield.
Danny Murphy on Oleksandr Zinchenko for Arsenal v Leicester City
Murphy said: “Zinchenko was terrific.”

Impressive
Oleksandr Zinchenko has been one of the best players for Arsenal so far this season.
The left-back has done well when he has played, and it is clear that he has brought a winning mentality to the Gunners’ team.
Against Leicester on Saturday afternoon, the 26-year-old wore the captain’s armband and played well in his ‘inverted’ full-back’s role.
Now, it was not exactly one of the best games from the Ukrainian this season.
And, let’s be fair, Arsenal were not at their best either.
We have seen Mikel Arteta’s side play much better the season.
However, Zinchenko played his role well and did the job that he was asked to do.
At the end of the season, Arsenal got the job done against Leicester and picked up all three points at the King Power Stadium.
