Tottenham Hotspur won against Luton Town away from home on Saturday, but Spurs forward Richarlison has come under criticism.

TalkSPORT pundit Jamie O’Hara has said that Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison was “terrible” against Luton Town.

The former Tottenham player has said on talkSPORT (5:39 pm, October 7, 2023) that Spurs are better playing with 10 men than with Richarlison on the pitch.

Spurs got the better of Luton 1-0 away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.

Tottenham went down to 10 men in first-half injury time when Yves Bissouma was sent off.

Micky van de Ven scored the match’s only goal in the 52nd minute.

Richarlison started the match for Tottenham and came off at half time.

O’Hara said about Richarlison: “Terrible. He was bad.

“We are better without him.

“We are actually better with 10 men.

“We actually played better with 10 men after he came off.

“He is struggling, he really is.”

My View: Richarlison was disappointing for Tottenham Hotspur

In my view, Richarlison was poor for Tottenham Hotspur in the first half.

The 26-year-old Brazil international forward would have probably stayed on had Tottenham not been reduced to 10 men.

But, you have to say that Richarlison should have scored one or two goals at least in the first half.

The Brazilian should have scored the first of the two very good chances that he got.

Richarlison has scored one goal and given two assists in five starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs so far this season.
