Chris Sutton on Antonio Conte’s decision on Tottenham Hotspur’s Son Heung-min
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur head coach Antonio Conte was right to drop Son Heung-min from the starting lineup against Leicester City.
Son has not been at his best so far this season and is struggling to bang in the goals on a regular basis like he does.
And with Spurs having signed Richarlison from Everton in the summer transfer window, Conte now has options in his attacking line.
And against Leicester, he used it.
There is no harm in that.
And Son scored a hat-trick against Leicester after coming on as a substitute.
