Terence Crawford has not given much away about his return plans, leaving fans wondering what is next after his latest win.
Over the weekend, the unbeaten Crawford picked up a third undisputed title in another weight class, beating Canelo Alvarez by a wide unanimous decision to take the super middleweight crown in Las Vegas.
‘Bud’ has been linked with both staying at 168lbs and moving back down to welterweight, but there is still no word on when he will be back in action or who he will face next.
Regarding a potential second fight with the Mexican legend, Crawford has avoided giving many comments.
Terence Crawford speaks out on possibility of immediate Canelo Alvarez rematch

With his clear win over Canelo in their title fight, Crawford now stands at 42-0.
He has already been linked to a potential title defence against former super middleweight champion David Benavidez. There is also talk of him facing the winner of Chris Eubank Jr. and Conor Benn’s rematch.
But when it comes to running it back with Canelo right away, Crawford has not shown much interest so far, despite not ruling out that possibility.
Speaking to ESPNmx, ‘Bud’ said: “I don’t know, we shall see. I don’t know, you know, right now I’m talking with my team.
“And you know, I’m only two days fresh from off of a fight. I’m just gonna go home and relax, I got a birthday in two weeks and I’m just gonna enjoy my victory for now.”
Crawford might be noncommittal about another immediate bout with Canelo, but the Mexican seems to have his next steps already planned out.
Canelo Alvarez reportedly offered retirement plan by Turki Alalshikh
Canelo’s fight against Crawford marked the 68th of his professional career, and although he is still among boxing’s elite, there are signs his time at the top is drawing to a close.
Earlier this year, he signed a two-fight deal with Turki Alalshikh, starting with his return bout against William Scull in the Middle East. Reports now suggest Alalshikh has offered him the chance to finish his career within Riyadh Season.
Despite these offers, Canelo has made it clear he is not considering retirement just yet, even after his loss at Allegiant Stadium.
