Burnley boss Sean Dyche has confirmed that Tendayi Darikwa is closing in on a move away amid links with Nottingham Forest.
Sean Dyche has suggested that there is a strong possibility that Tendayi Darikwa is set to leave Burnley this summer, amid reports from the Burnley Express that Nottingham Forest are closing in on a deal for the full-back.
Darikwa failed to make a single appearance for the Clarets in the Premier League last season, and appears to face an even tougher task trying to force his way back into the side with Phil Bardsley arriving at Turf Moor from Stoke during this window.

The Burnley Express has suggested that the 25-year-old is now set to join Forest in the near future, and while Dyche did not mention Mark Warburton’s men while commenting on the right-back’s future, he did suggest that a move away from the Clarets is likely.
“There’s a strong possibility of that, we’re waiting on a couple of situations that may arise,” he said, as reported by the Burnley Express, when asked whether Darikwa’s future lies elsewhere.
The Burnley Express adds that Darikwa – who was born in Nottingham – could actually make his debut for Nottingham Forest when they take on Burnley in a pre-season friendly at the weekend.
Though Darikwa has struggled to hold down a first-team place since joining Burnley in 2015, his form during their Championship title-winning campaign should give Forest fans plenty of hope, if a move does go through, that he will be able to make an impact at the City Ground during the coming campaign.
