Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag is confident that Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount will not join Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The Telegraph have reported that Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool all want to sign Mason Mount from Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The midfielder, described as “a superb player” by Paris Saint-Germain and France international forward Kylian Mbappe in GFFN in June 2021, has yet to make a decision on his future.
United boss Ten Hag is reportedly confident that he can persuade the 24-year-old to move to Old Trafford and snub interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Manchester United or Arsenal for Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount?
In our view, Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount will have a tough choice to make if Arsenal and Manchester United both make offers for him.
Now, of course, for Chelsea, it would not matter which club they sell to as long as they get a very good transfer fee.
For Chelsea, whoever club pay more will get to sign Mount.
For the midfielder himself, the club that offers him more salary will be more appealing.
However, Mount is also very likely to look at the sporting project.
The England international midfielder will surely want to move to the club where he would develop and progress the most and whether he would have the most chances of winning major trophies.
