Tottenham Hotspur loanee Troy Parrott drew another blank last night, but some fans have been absolutely praising him nonetheless.
The 19-year-old Spurs striker was sent on loan to League One side Ipswich Town in January.
And Tuesday night represented his seventh-straight game without a goal for the Tractor Boys, who beat Accrington Stanley 2-1.
That being said, Parrott, who began his career at Tottenham, hasn’t been playing as an out-and-out number nine and therefore he has to be judged on other aspects of his performance than whether he sticks the ball in the back of the net.
And suffice to say that some Town fans were mightily impressed by his display last night. Here’s what they’re saying on Twitter:
The goals will come for Parrott, who might be struggling for confidence.
Remember, he didn’t score for Championship side Millwall during the first half of the campaign either and that’ll no doubt take its toll on the lad’s belief.
But Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan, as was Mauricio Pochettino, and that’s all he has to remember.
