Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has been impressing for club and country of late, and is now being backed for the Premier League.
Kamara’s form appeared to desert him earlier in 2020, but he has now started this term looking more like himself.
The 24-year-old has excelled for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, and has now taken that form onto the international stage with Finland.
Kamara played a starring role as Finland beat Bulgaria 2-0 on Sunday, and will be looking to do the same against Ireland this evening.
Now, Norwich City striker Teemu Pukki, who plays for Finland alongside Kamara, has not only hailed the midfielder but also backed him for Premier League success.
Ex-Celtic misfit Pukki has told The National that he thinks Kamara is a ‘top player’, and would bet on him playing in England’s top flight.
“Glen is a top player and I think he would definitely do well in the English Premier League. I’d bet on him playing there at some point in his career,” said Pukki.

Kamara responded by suggesting that he isn’t focused on a move back to England, and is just enjoying his football for now.
90Min reported in August that Everton and Newcastle United were keen on signing Kamara, alongside Sheffield United, Crystal Palace, Southampton, Norwich City and Brentford.
There is clearly interest in England, and Pukki is now backing him to do it – but he has plenty to achieve at Rangers first, such as winning the Scottish Premiership title.
