Harry Kane has only recently signed a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur.
Former Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham raved about the quality of Harry Kane, when speaking exclusively to Betstars, and warned Spurs that they will find it very difficult to keep hold of the England international hitman.
The 24-year-old was in scintillating form for the Lilywhites last season, chalking up 41 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions, firmly cementing his reputation as one of the continent’s most feared front-men.
Unfortunately for Tottenham, though, his fine performances have not gone unnoticed.
According to the Sun, Real Madrid are keen to bring Kane to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer, and could be prepared to spend up to £200 million in order to make it happen.
The Englishman has only recently signed a new deal with Spurs worth £90 million over the next six years, but in football, that really is no guarantee.
Sheringham warned his former club that they will find it difficult to keep hold of Kane, when speaking exclusively to Betstars:
“He could go anywhere in the world he chooses if he were to leave tomorrow. He’s that good. He’s the best number nine in the world. He’s a player you’ve got to keep but it will be very difficult to do so.”
The 24-year-old is currently in Russia with England ahead of their World Cup campaign, and if he enjoys a successful tournament, his stock within the game will rise even further still.
