The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder is a phenomenal talent.

Teddy Sheringham has told Tottenham Hotspur’s official website that the next four or five years will be “outstanding” for Dele Alli.
The 21-year-old midfielder is one of the most exciting young players in Europe after a couple of superb seasons with Spurs.

The England international netted 18 Premier League goals last term, having 10 in his breakthrough season at Tottenham during the 2015-16 campaign.
It certainly seems like he is going from strength to strength as he continues to produce “outstanding results” and the Lilywhites icon backs him to get a lot better over the coming years.
“For someone still so young, he’s been very good,” Sheringham told Spurs’ official website. “A lot of people forget what it was like to be 21. I know from my point of view, I was still learning my trade and trying to understand what I could and couldn’t do on a football pitch at that age.

“He’s doing that, but he’s doing it at the top level and producing outstanding results week in, week out, so for me, he can only get better.
“I think the next four or five years will be outstanding years for Dele because he’s really grasped what he can and can’t do very quickly and he’s performing regularly.”
It is utterly bizarre to think that Alli hadn’t kicked a ball in the Premier League this time two years ago.
The phrase ‘leaps and bounds’ does not do his emergence justice and Sheringham is right – Tottenham have a superstar on their hands.
