Tottenham Hotspur won against West Ham United at the London Stadium in the Premier League at the weekend.

Tottenham Hotspur defender Serge Aurier was sent off during the Premier League game against West Ham United at the weekend.
Aurier was dismissed for two bookable offences during the London derby at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The sending-off of the Ivory Coast international right-back gave hope to the Hammers, who reduced the deficit from 3-0 to 3-2.

Spurs eventually held on for the three points, but it could have been far easier for them had the 24-year-old remained on the pitch.
Aurier joined Tottenham from French giants Paris Saint-Germain in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £23 million.
The Ivory Coast international’s challenge on Andy Carroll for the second yellow card was late, and it could have been better.

Former Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham was following the match for Sky Sports, and he defended Aurier.
While fellow pundits Jamie Redknapp and Alan Pardew criticised the Spurs defender while analysing the match in the studio (click here to read more), Sheringham gave the 24-year-old right-back the benefit of the doubt.
“I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt here,” said Sheringham about Aurier on Sky Sports Premier League last Saturday afternoon (2:48pm) during the post-match analysis of the London derby between West Ham and Tottenham.
“I am going to say perhaps he has joined the Premier League and thought ‘You know what, in the Premier League you have got to challenge, you have got to get against people’. Maybe he has just been told just a bit too much.”
