Rangers will send Jamie Barjonas out on loan for next season, according to The Daily Record.
It has been reported that as many as three clubs are interested in signing Barjonas on loan from Rangers in the summer transfer window.
Burton Albion, Ayr United and Orange County FC are the clubs who want the 21-year-old midfielder, according to the report.
The Daily Record has claimed that the youngster has just one more year left on his current contract at Rangers.
Long-term future at Rangers?
Described by Rangers assistant manager Gary McAllister as “a technical footballer who can play football” on Rangers’ official website in October 2019, as covered by HITC Sport here, Barjonas is a very talented player indeed who has a bright future ahead of him.
However, if Rangers do not hand the Scottish youngster a new contract before letting him leave on loan, then it does put his long-term future at Ibrox under doubt.
Rangers will be aiming to stop bitter Old Firm rivals Celtic from winning the Scottish Premiership title for the 10th season in a row in 2020-21.
