Liverpool fans don’t appear keen on the idea of selling Harry Wilson or Marko Grujic, even though the Daily Mirror claim that Jurgen Klopp could look to get £40 million for the pair.

Wilson and Grujic have both returned from loan deals to join up with Liverpool again this summer, but it appears that their days are numbered at Anfield.

The Reds are apparently looking to offload the pair, but many Liverpool supporters think that selling them could backfire.

Wilson has proven his quality over the past two season out on loan, where he has caught the eye at both Derby County and Bournemouth.

At the age of 23, the Welsh international still has room to develop – and he could provide a useful back-up option for Liverpool if he does stick around.

Grujic, meanwhile, shone in the Bundesliga while with Hertha Berlin last term and would offer Liverpool more depth in midfield.

Liverpool may argue that offloading the pair makes sense, as the money they raise from their sales could go into investing in a player who would be ready to impact on their first-team straight away.

But it seems that many fans are hoping that Liverpool keep the pair around, as they still feel they could help out over the course of the season.
