Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to react after the club released their new home shirt ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
What’s the story?
Well, at last, Aston Villa’s new kit – made by Kappa – has been released.
It was announced in the form of a cracking video from the club.
The new strip isn’t too different to the 2020/21 shirt, expect for a few minor changes in detail from Kappa.
Kappa’s fresh design sees a bit of trim added to the end of the sleeves, and involves stripes in different shades of claret.
In our view, it’s a very smart shirt.
Is Jack Grealish staying?

Interestingly, the kit launch involved an appearance from Jack Grealish.
A handful of fans below went wild at the sight of their No.10 and captain, who has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City.
Now, unless something drastically changes, you would expect Grealish to remain at Villa Park after appearing in the video.

There were reports claiming that Aston Villa are actually open to selling the England international, if they receive a fee close to the £89m Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba.
However, from our point of view, there’s no way that’s true, now he’s played a starring role in the new kit launch.
Let’s see how the Aston Villa fans on Twitter reacted to the new shirt…
