Some Arsenal fans on Twitter believe that Mikel Arteta is about to recall Gabriel Martinelli for senior football.
The Brazilian wonderkid hasn’t kicked a ball for the Gunners since March due to injury.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference before the visit to Everton today, Arteta raved about the 19-year-old starlet and claimed that he’s going ‘100 miles an hour’ in training at London Colney.
And Arsenal fans think Martinelli might be on the bus for the trip to Merseyside this evening.
The North Londoners had a Under-23 game against Leicester City last night and the likes of Pablo Mari, Calum Chambers and William Saliba were all involved.
But there was no sign of Martinelli in the squad and some Arsenal supporters believe it’ll be because he’s going to Goodison Park.

To be honest, this does have some validity to it.
With Arteta waxing lyrical about the player on Friday, and this being around the time of his expected return, it really wouldn’t be a huge surprise to see him named on the bench versus Everton.
