Ben White has raved about reported Tottenham Hotspur target Lewis Dunk on Gaffer.

The Brighton and Hove Albion central defender has said that Dunk is one of the most underrated defenders in the Premier League.

The former Leeds United loanee has joked that the 29-year-old central defender is too old for a transfer, but he has said that the Englishman is an unbelievable player.

Football London reported last month that Tottenham are interested in signing Dunk from Premier League rivals Brighton in the summer of 2021.

White said on Gaffer when asked about the most underrated centre-back in the Premier League: “It has got to be Dunky. I think he is one of the best centre-halves in the league.”

When asked about a potential move away, the defender said: “He is old, isn’t he? He is old, isn’t he? Unbelievable player every day in training. The best.”

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur?

Dunk is a very good central defender who is at the peak of his game and would make Spurs better.

The 29-year-old has been on the books of Brighton his entire professional club football career so far and knows the Premier League inside out.

Dunk is a no-nonsense defender who would make Spurs better and add depth to head coach Jose Mourinho’s squad, and he also scores goals.

According to WhoScored, Dunk has scored four goals in 28 Premier League matches for Brighton so far this season, and scored three goals and gave three assists in 36 league games for the Seagulls in 2019-20.
