The 23-year-old was photographed during pre-season training with Arsenal teammates, much to the unease of fans.
Arsenal’s Yaya Sanogo
It’s no secret that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is keen on bringing a striker to the Emirates this summer. Having seen advances for Leicester City’s Jamie Vardy fail to come to fruition, the London Evening Standard now suggests Alexandre Lacazette and Alvaro Morata are now on the Gunners’ radar.
But with Takuma Asano currently the only forward to have been brought in so far, it’s safe to say some fans are getting a little impatient.

Those concerns are unlikely to have been eased by Yaya Sanogo’s return to the club for pre-season training, with many fans taking to social media to vent their anger at seeing the 23-year-old back seemingly back in the first team picture.
Sanogo signed for Arsenal three years ago but has spent most of his career out on loan, with spells out at Crystal Palace, Ajax and Charlton.
He is yet to find the net in the Premier League, but photos from the session at London Colney appear to show him gelling well with teammates – all while sporting a number 22 on his training kit.
Given that the Frenchman was brought to the Emirates as being a potential prospect for the future, Wenger may well feel the time has come to finally give him his chance to shine in North London, especially if their search for a world class striker does leaves them empty-handed.
