Draxler looks set to stay at Wolfsburg
Arsenal look set to miss out on a deal for Julian Draxler after Wolfsburg’s director of sport, Klaus Allofs told sport1.de that he is “100 per cent certain” of keeping the winger.
Draxler only arrived at the Volkswagen Arena from Schalke last summer, but has nevertheless been strongly linked with another move, with Arsenal understood to be just one admirer of the 22-year-old.

The playmaker, who broke into the Germany national set-up at the age of just 19, is one of the most highly-rated midfielders in Europe and even turned down a move to the Premier League in 2015 after Manchester United, and indeed Arsenal, had tried to seal a deal.
Draxler told Bild at the time of the move that he was not ready for a stint abroad, and a transfer to England’s top flight now looks as unlikely this time around.
Draxler is seemingly unlikely to be an Arsenal player this summer
When asked about the midfielder’s future, Wolfsburg’s director of sport Allofs told sport1.de: “The situation with Draxler is 100 per cent certain that he will be staying at Wolfsburg.
“There is no discussing that.”
Arsenal manager Wenger may now have to look elsewhere
While a move to the Emirates is not completely out of the question, Wenger certainly faces a real in order to land one of his top summer transfer targets.
