Reports in Italy suggest Higuain is on the verge of joining Juventus this summer.
Arsenal fans aren’t happy at missing out on another transfer target
It certainly takes a special kind of player to upset two sets of fans, but that appears to be exactly what Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain has done this summer, with the Arsenal target looking set to join Serie A champions Juventus, in a move that has upset those in North London and Naples.
Gazzetto dello Sport claimed that the striker did not turn up to Napoli’s first day of pre-season, intensifying speculation about his future after reports over the weekend claimed that Juve had activated the Argentine’s £75 million release clause.

Having hit a record 36 goals for Napoli last season, Higuain emerged as a target for Gunners boss Arsene Wenger, who was previously turned down by Leicester City’s talismanic forward Jamie Vardy earlier in the summer.

But with Higuain reportedly reportedly set to sign a four-year deal in Turin, many Arsenal fans found the disappointment of missing out on another target a little too much to take.
However, no matter how much rage Arsenal fans can be feeling, it is probably nothing compared to the reaction among Neapolitans, who since the weekend have been showing their anger towards their former hero.
