Reports have surfaced claiming Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are planning a huge wedding at Madison Square Garden, but nothing has been officially confirmed by the couple.

According to the report, the ceremony is set for July 3 in New York City, with over 1,000 guests expected to fill one of the world’s most iconic venues.

If true, it would not be a low-key affair. Pulling off an event of that scale would require serious security, strict access control and a level of planning closer to a major concert than a traditional wedding.

Taylor Swift Travis Kelce MSG wedding report reveals huge guest list

According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge claim between 1,100 and 1,200 guests are expected at Madison Square Garden for the reported wedding.

The outlet also reported that Swift and Kelce have used text messages rather than physical invitations, a move that would make sense if the goal is limiting leaks.

While names like Benson Boone and Karlie Kloss have been mentioned in reporting, the full guest list has not been confirmed. Until it is verified by the couple or their teams, any name attached to the event should be treated carefully.

The choice of venue is particularly interesting. Madison Square Garden’s lack of exterior windows could help keep the event private, while its underground parking would allow high-profile guests to avoid crowds and paparazzi.

Madison Square Garden wedding would fit Swift privacy plan

TMZ also reported that security plans involve the NYPD and private companies, with possible street closures around the arena.

That kind of setup would match the scale of the guest list. It would also explain why a sports and concert arena could make more sense than a traditional celebrity wedding venue.

For Swift, MSG would carry history as well as practicality. She has performed at the Garden multiple times during her career, which is why the venue has been described as a full-circle setting.

For Kelce, the NFL connection only adds to the crossover appeal. A Chiefs star marrying the biggest pop star in the world at a building made for major events would instantly become one of the year’s biggest celebrity stories.

Still, the key word is reportedly. Until Swift, Kelce or their teams confirm the date, venue or guest list, this remains a high-profile report rather than a settled wedding announcement.
