The Burnley centre-back has been linked with a move away.

Burnley have enjoyed an impressive season so far, with Sean Dyche’s side having been excellent defensively.
James Tarkowski has had a major part to play in that regard, with the centre-back having produced some outstanding performances, and it is of little surprise that he is now being linked with a high-profile move away from Burnley.
As reported by Metro, Chelsea and Arsenal are both interested in signing Tarkowksi, who has stepped up admirably for Burnley following the departure of Michael Keane to Everton.

Judging on his performances in the Premier League so far this season, Tarkowski certainly possesses the quality to play for a major club, although he may well take some time to adapt to playing in the Champions League or the Europa League given that he doesn’t possess any prior experience of playing in those competitions.
However, Burnley shouldn’t contemplate letting Tarkowski leave, especially at this stage of the season, as losing a player who has been such a major part of their excellent form would be a major blow.

Perhaps next summer, when they will have more time to search for an adequate replacement, Burnley can consider offers for Tarkowski, but for now they should do all that they can to try and keep the 25-year-old at Turf Moor.
