Tanguy Ndombele has joined Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Spurs have signed Ndombele from French club Lyon for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £53.8 million.
The 22-year-old midfielder is one of the best and most promising young players in Europe, and the France international can only get better in the coming years.
The midfielder has explained his decision to join Tottenham, and he has also underlined his improvement, comments which will excite the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful.
Ndombele told L’Equipe, as translated by Getfootballnewsfrance.com, regarding his move to Tottenham: “It was deeply thought through. Tottenham have one of the best managers in the world. The fact that he wants you, it makes you want to come work with him. He was the one who shifted my decision.”
The midfielder added about his improvement: “I believe in myself more. I am better. I am worried less about making mistakes on the pitch. The paradox is that I also tell myself that I am less reckless on the pitch than I was before.
“There are maybe a few less risks taken in my style of play now. But I am a better player, a different player. I defend more, I run more too.”

Good signing for Tottenham Hotspur
Ndombele is a dynamic and technically gifted midfielder, and the France international is a very good signing for Tottenham, not just for now, but in the long term as well.
The 22-year-old will slot straight into the Tottenham starting lineup, and he will make Mauricio Pochettino’s side better.
Spurs finished in the top four of the Premier League last season and also reached the final of the Champions League.
