Jamie O’Hara has said on talkSPORT (8:39am, December 27, 2021) that Tanguy Ndombele is not good enough to play for Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.

The Sky Sports and talkSPORT pundit believes that Ndombele is not fit enough to play the way Conte wants Tottenham to play.

O’Hara, a former Tottenham midfielder, made the comments following Spurs’ win against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Boxing Day.

The pundit said about Ndombele: “He is not for me, Ndombele. I don’t think he is good enough to play for this Spurs side. He is not fit enough to play. I don’t think he has the capacity.”

Could Tanguy Ndombele succeed under Antonio Conte at Tottenham?

In our opinion, Ndombele can still succeed at Tottenham and flourish under Conte.

Yes, things have not been great for the Frenchman during his spell at Spurs.

However, just look at how Conte transformed Romelu Lukaku.

The Belgium international developed into a world-class striker under Conte at Inter Milan.

In our view, Ndombele could develop and progress under Conte.

Now, of course, it is not going to happen overnight.

There has to be willingness on the part of Ndombele to better himself as well.

In our opinion, Tottenham fans should be optimistic about Ndombele playing his role for the team in the coming weeks and months.

Tottenham are aiming to finish in the Premier League top four this season.
