Newcastle United are said to be considering a move for Chelsea’s Tammy Abraham.

Newcastle are on the look out for additions in January, with Abraham said to be high up on their wishlist.
Abraham’s last spell in the Premier League was far from convincing, as he struggled on a loan spell with Swansea City.
But Newcastle would still be taking a smart gamble by making a move for the England international.
While Abraham may not have a track record of success at the top tier, he looks to be a player with boundless potential.
The youngster is already too good for the Championship, and he has proven that on two spells in the second tier.

Abraham has scored prolifically at both Bristol City and Aston Villa, and it seems to be only a matter of time before he makes the step up to becoming a proven Premier League goalscorer.
Newcastle should offer him the chance to do that at St. James’ Park, as he could be a fine addition to their squad.
While Salomon Rondon has been in excellent form of late, Newcastle’s other striking options all have big question marks hanging over their goalscoring credentials in the top tier.
And if Benitez could bring the best out of Abraham then he would be a major upgrade on what the Magpies’ currently have.
