Aston Villa should unleash Tammy Abraham against Blackburn for his debut.
Tammy Abraham helped England’s Under-21s side secure a win on Tuesday and he has to be in line for his Aston Villa debut at the weekend.
The 20-year-old striker joined the Midlands giants on loan from Chelsea in the latter stages of the summer window, which means he is yet to make his first appearance for the Championship club.
He started for Aidy Boothroyd’s young side, as they beat Latvia 2-1 in an Under-21 European Championship qualifier.
Abraham gave himself a major individual boost by getting on the scoresheet with a headed goal and will be hoping he can replicate that for his new club side.
Villa travel to Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and manager Steve Bruce should thrown his new loan signing straight into the starting XI.
The Express and Star reports that the centre-forward is set to make his first Villa appearance against Blackburn.
Bruce should be looking to start Abraham, which could be alongside or in place of new teammate Jonathan Kodjia in attack.
Abraham previously scored 23 goals in 41 Championship appearances during a loan with Bristol City, which is why he could turn out to be a brilliant signing for Villa.
