Aston Villa winger Yannick Bolasie has taken to Instagram to launch a last-gasp plea for teammate Tammy Abraham to stay with the club this month.

Abraham, just like Bolasie, joined Villa on loan from a Premier League club in August, with the striker joining from Chelsea whilst Bolasie arrived from Everton.

Abraham has been a sensation since making his move to Villa Park, as he has smashed 16 goals in just 20 appearances for the club – but his record may end there.

Wolves are desperately pursuing a deal for Abraham which would see him leave Villa, return to Chelsea and head straight back out on loan again to Wolves.

Moving back up to the Premier League is no doubt appealing to Abraham, who has once again proven that he is too good for the Championship.

Villa really won’t want to lose Abraham, but the situation appears to be out of their hands as they wait to hear whether the striker has decided to stay or go.

Now, Bolasie has launched an attempt to keep Abraham at Villa Park, posting a photo on Instagram of himself putting Abraham in a headlock whilst begging him to stay and ‘don’t go anywhere’, with Abraham responding with a crying emoji as questions over his future continue.
