Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has stated on Instagram that it is an ‘honour’ to win Men’s Young Player of the Year at the London Football awards.
The 21-year-old picked up the gong on Monday night and the Arsenal winger was lauded by a number of his current and former teammates, including the likes of Tammy Abraham, Sam Greenwood and Ethan Nwaneri.
Saka has the world at his feet and, by the time the final ball is kicked in May, he might just become an Arsenal legend, although, he will head down that road one day, it’s just a case of when.

At such a young age, the England international is playing a very key role in Arsenal possibly becoming champions of England for the first time in nearly two decades.
The versatile forward would have been just a toddler when Arsene Wenger was creating history by guiding Arsenal to an invincible season, with the likes of Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg at his disposal.
Nonetheless, when Saka posted about his award on IG, Roma and England striker Tammy Abraham sent a heart emoji to the player, alongside teenager Ethan Nwaneri, who will no doubt be looking at the path Saka has forged for himself.
Added to that, actor and rapper Michael Dapaah told him ‘congrats. Keep winning’.
THE ‘REMARKABLE’ SAKA
‘Star boy’ and ‘remarkable’. These are just some of the adjectives used to describe Saka, who has the world at his feet.
After 27 Premier League games, he has ten goals and nine assists, with one more goal needed to match last season’s tally.
Either way, it has been another outstanding campaign for the player, and it will be interesting to see if he does push his boyhood club to the title, if he does pick up another award this season.
