On-loan Bristol City forward Abraham is hoping for a bright future with parent club Chelsea following his tenure at Ashton Gate.
Bristol City star Tammy Abraham has admitted that he is hopeful that he may still have a future at parent club Chelsea, as reported by Sky Sports.
Abraham has been making headlines left, right and centre for City this season after bagging 11 goals in his first 16 appearances of a loan spell.
The 19-year-old has been one of the key factors in the Robins’ rise up the Championship in the early stages of the campaign and he shows no signs of slowing down as they continue their surprise push for a place in the play-offs.
His overall talent is there for everyone to see, and many Chelsea fans are hoping it is the beginning of a long and prosperous career once he returns to Stamford Bridge.
It appears that the teenager shares that hope. He told Sky Sports: “I think with the new manager coming in the chances are there because we can see he’s been playing youngsters.
“It’s a case of when you get the opportunity you have to impress and give your all. Everyone has their time and hopefully my time will come soon.”
Some have been suspecting that his loan spell could be cut short depending on how Chelsea’s attacking options fare in the next few months, and many Championship teams will be hoping that is the case.
Bristol City will be hoping to keep their momentum going when they host struggling Blackburn Rovers this weekend.
