Everton are said to be interested in signing Chelsea forward Tammy Abraham on a permanent deal.

According to The Sun, Everton are working on a deal to sign Tammy Abraham, and he could be a great fit for Ronald Koeman’s side.

Everton have looked towards Tottenham Hotspur’s model of bringing in the best young talent around, and giving them their chance at the top level.

Everton have signed the likes of Ademola Lookman, Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Mason Holgate in recent times, in the hope they could develop into first-team stars.

The Toffees also have a host of exciting prospects currently breaking through their academy – with Tom Davies, Kieran Dowell and Jonjoe Kenny all looking to be bright talents.

And the addition of Abraham would only add to the potential of Everton’s squad for future years.

Abraham looks to be one of the best striking prospects in England, following his impressive season at Bristol City.

The 19-year-old managed to hit 26 goals in the Championship over the past campaign, which was his first full season playing senior football.

Chelsea have been impressed by his talent, and would prefer to allow the youngster to leave on loan, but Everton are working on a deal to bring him to Goodison Park permanently.

And if the Toffees could complete the transfer, Abraham looks like the perfect player to add to their vibrant, young squad.
