Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish has been compared to Chelsea great Eden Hazard.

On-loan Aston Villa striker Tammy Abraham has labelled teammate Jack Grealish an unbelievable player and backs the midfielder to reach the level of Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, he told Villa’s YouTube series Drive Time.
“He is an unbelievable player. The things he has, things he can do with the ball – you can’t teach it. He’s born with it,” Abraham said, describing Jack Grealish.
“He reminds me of Eden Hazard. Once Jack adds a few more goals and assists, he’ll be on that level. He has the same attributes – the way he dribbles, protects the ball, sees a pass, plays one-twos. He’s very intelligent.”
Grealish came through the youth ranks at his boyhood club Villa and has gone on to make over 100 league appearances for the Midlands side.
The 23-year-old is now widely regarded as the best player in the Championship, and his return from injury is pushing Villa towards a top-six spot with the Villans winning their last four games in succession.
Capable of playing out wide or as a controlling midfielder, Grealish has chipped in with four goals and five assists in 25 Championship starts this season. Moreover, he averages 2.2 key passes per game and is one of the most fouled players in the league, drawing 4.8 fouls on him per league encounter.

While he doesn’t possess the speed or goal threat of Chelsea ace Hazard, Grealish’s ball control and passing ability is comparable to the Belgium superstar while his awareness will come with more top-level experience.
Villa’s best hopes of promotion this season is keeping Grealish fit and ready for the playoffs. Dean Smith’s side are building momentum, and they’re coming to form at just the right time.
