Tam McManus has used Jose Mourinho to make his point to a Celtic fan on Twitter.

The former Hibernian forward, who now works as a pundit for PLZ Soccer, made the comment during Celtic’s defeat to Sparta Prague away from home in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

The Scottish Premiership club went down 4-1 in the Group H match and will not progress to the knockout rounds of the European competition this season.

It was a disappointing display from Celtic, although the Hoops did play better in the second half and showed some spirit.

McManus has used the example of Mourinho, ‘The Special One’, to respond to the Celtic fan on Twitter when he mentioned about the visiting team having a lot of ball in the second half, stating that the Bhoys would rather have the points than possession.

The Scotsman also gave his take on the overall performance of Neil Lennon’s side, while former Celtic striker Chris Sutton was impressed with striker Odsonne Edouard, who scored for the Glasgow giants in the 15th minute.

Celtic are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 30 points from 13 matches, as many as 11 points behind leaders and bitter Old Firm rivals Rangers, who have played 15 games.
