Celtic recorded a comfortable win at Rangers on Sunday afternoon.

Tam McManus has stated on Twitter that there were ‘some very over-hyped players’ who ‘didn’t turn up when it mattered’ during Celtic’s 2-0 win over Rangers on Sunday at Ibrox.
The former Premiership player was seemingly talking about the Rangers players because they were the ones who produced a poor display in front of their own supporters against Neil Lennon’s side.
Both teams went into this fixture with a 100% record, but it was Steven Gerrard’s side who lost their winning start on a disappointing afternoon for those in blue.
During the game, McManus sent a series of Twitter messages about the game, as he stated that Rangers seemingly looked lost during the game.
From the first minute to the last, Celtic were outstanding, with their defence also proving their worth against a Rangers attack that was in-form going into this fixture.
Odsonne Edouard opened the scoring in the first half, as Celtic pressed their opponents with great energy throughout the game and continually forced them into mistakes.
Steven Gerrard tried to change things up at half-time and after the break, but in the end, they didn’t really test Fraser Forster in goal.
As Rangers were chasing the game, Jonny Hayes finished off a swift counter-attack into stoppage time to make sure the points headed to Parkhead.
