Aston Villa’s John McGinn is good enough to play for Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic.

Tam McManus has stated on Twitter that Aston Villa midfielder John McGinn would walk into Steven Gerrard’s Glasgow Rangers and Neil Lennon’s Celtic teams.
The former Hibernian forward made the statement following McGinn’s performance for Villa against Everton at Villa Park in the Premier League on Friday evening.
The 24-year-old Scotland international midfielder provided the assist for Anwar El Ghazi’s goal in the fifth minute of injury time and was the driving force in midfield for the Villans.
The former St. Mirren and Hibernian star has been superb for Villa in the Premier League so far this season, and McManus – who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport – believes that McGinn would walk into the Celtic and Rangers team.

McManus has also said that Celtic fans must be disappointed not to have McGinn in their team right now.
According to The Daily Record, Celtic wanted to sign McGinn back in the summer of 2018 before he moved to Villa from Hibernian for a transfer fee reported by The Times to be worth £2.75 million.
