Pedro Caixinha’s Glasgow Rangers have parted company with Joe Garner, who has joined Ipswich Town.
Joe Garner at Rangers
Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his reaction to Joe Garner’s departure from Rangers.
Ipswich Town have signed Garner from Scottish Premiership giants Rangers on a three-year contract. The 29-year-old striker joined the Gers only in the summer of 2016.
McManus believes that parting company with the former Preston North End and Nottingham Forest striker is the best piece of business that Pedro Caixinha’s side will do this summer.

Garner failed to make an impact at Rangers during the 2016-17 campaign, scoring only 10 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions for the Glasgow giants, as reported by BBC Sport.
Much was expected of the 29-year-old at Ibrox, and it cannot be denied that the former Watford man was a failure at Rangers.
Given his experience in Championship football, Garner will be confident of succeeding at Ipswich and helping his new club push for the playoffs next season.
