Kris Commons looks set to leave Celtic in the summer transfer window.

Former Hibernian forward Tam McManus has taken to social networking site Twitter to praise Celtic attacking midfielder Kris Commons.
Commons has been on the books of Celtic since 2011, but the 33-year-old’s current contract with the Scottish Premiership giants runs out in the summer.

The former Nottingham Forest and Derby County attacking midfielder has had a loan spell at Hibernian this season, and helped Neil Lennon’s side clinch automatic promotion from the Scottish Championship to the Scottish Premiership for the 2017-18 campaign.
The Scotsman has told The Glasgow Evening Times that he will leave Celtic at the end of the season, and McManus has praised him on Twitter.
Commons may have struggled for playing time at Celtic, but there is no doubt that the former Stoke City attacking midfielder can still do a decent job.
A return to England and playing in the Championship for the next two years would not be a bad idea; the 33-year-old should also look into the possibility of signing a permanent contract with Hibernian in the summer.
