Neil Lennon’s Celtic left it very, very late on Sunday.

Tam McManus has hit back at a fan on Twitter for criticising Neil Lennon’s celebration during a Celtic goal on Sunday.

Odsonne Edouard poked home a 94th-minute winnner for the Hoops as Lennon’s side won 1-0 at Dundee yesterday.

The Northern Irishman was the picture of euphoric after the goal as he ran down the touchline and grabbed the corner flag, in front of the Celtic fans.

One supporter on Twitter has criticised the Bhoys’ caretaker boss for his reaction, but former Hibernian star and BBC pundit McManus doesn’t see much wrong with a bit of passion.

It was indeed justified when you consider what it meant for Lennon’s side.

Celtic moved 10 points clear of Rangers in the Scottish Premiership title race as a result of the win, taking them ever so close to an eighth successive league crown.
