Rangers will take on FC Porto away from home in Portugal in Europa League Group G on Thursday evening.
Celtic are also in action this evening, with the Hoops locking horns with Lazio at Celtic Park in Europa League E.
Former Hibernian forward McManus believes that Rangers will lose in Portugal, but he has backed the Bhoys to pick up maximum points against Serie A outfit Lazio.
McManus said about Rangers on PLZ Soccer: “I think Rangers will struggle. I think that Porto will win the game 2-1.”
McManus said about Celtic on PLZ Soccer: “Lazio are still a big name in European football. I think that has captured the imagination of the Celtic fans, but in terms of how good a side they are, I think Celtic can turn them over.”

Europa League progress
Rangers are third in Europa League Group G with three points from two matches, level on points with Feyenoord, Young Boys and FC Porto.
It is a very tough and tight group, but manager Gerrard will be confident of progressing to the knockout round, especially if they pick up a point tonight.
As for Celtic, the defending Scottish Premiership champions are currently at the top of Group E with four points from two matches.
The Hoops will put themselves in a great position if they win against Lazio this evening.
