It wasn’t a great night for the Celtic attacker at St Mirren.

Oliver Burke had a night to forget for Celtic this evening.
Neil Lennon’s side maintained a 13-point lead over Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership by securing a narrow 2-0 win away to St Mirren.
It could and probably should have been a far more comfortable win for Celtic – and would have been had Burke taken the opportunities that he had.
First, the Scottish attacker, who earns £30,000 per week with parent club West Brom [Silly Season], missed a brilliant chance on 19 minutes after latching on to a Callum McGregor pass.
Burke then fluffed another chance to double the Hoops’ lead within five minutes of the restart, bursting through on goal but his low shot was straight at goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky.
The 21-year-old hasn’t looked as lethal under Lennon as he did during Brendan Rodgers’s tenure at Parkhead.
And BBC pundit Tam McManus remarked on Twitter that he had a ‘shocker’ this evening.
Burke’s speed and power made him look a frightening prospect under Rodgers and most Celtic fans were eager for their side to secure a permanent transfer.
But the West Brom-owned ace, an unused substitute in the Bhoys’ last two games before tonight, is looking worryingly subdued and fans of the Glasgow club may not be as keen for a long-term deal anymore.
He hasn’t scored for Celtic since Rodgers left the club in February.
