Forrest opened the scoring for Celtic in the second leg of their Europa League playoff round tie.
The 28-year-old Scotland international played well for the Hoops as well, and former Hibernian forward McManus – who now works as a pundit for BBC Sport – was impressed with the winger turning up yet again in a big game for Celtic.
CSKA Sofia forward Tony Watt played with Forrest at Celtic, and the 25-year-old has spoken highly of the 28-year-old on Twitter.

Forrest is one of the best wingers in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in the current Celtic team.
The Scotland international has been playing consistently well for a number of years now, and the 28-year-old is going to be on top of his game for quite a few years for Celtic.
The Hoops will need the winger to be at his best if they are to go through from the Europa League group stage this season.
