Gabriel Agbonlahor has tipped six Aston Villa players to make Gareth Southgate’s England squad for the upcoming European Championships.
The ex-Villa captain – who describes himself as a talkSPORT pundit in his Twitter bio – said that he thinks Tyrone Mings, Jack Grealish, Ross Barkley, Matty Cash, Ezri Konsa and Ollie Watkins will be on the plane.
He wrote on Twitter: ‘Matty cash Watkins grealish konsa mings Barkley will all be in the euros squad remember who said it first…’
Grealish, Mings and Barkley have a realistic chance of doing so seeing as they have already been capped for the Three Lions.
However, Konsa, Watkins and Cash have never even received call-ups.
In fact, the £28 million striker who downed Liverpool has never even featured for his country at youth level, having taken the long way to the top via Exeter, Weston-super-Mare and then Brentford.

The same goes for Cash. The right-back came through the ranks at Nottingham Forest, spending time on loan at Dagenham and Redbridge, before moving to the Premier League.
In that respect, it seems far fetched that the pair will make Southgate’s squad unless they rip up trees this season.

In Cash’s case, his chances are even slimmer with the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold, Kieran Trippier, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Kyle Walker ahead of him at right-back.
Konsa perhaps has the best chance out of the three uncapped players. The ex-Brentford man has featured for England at Under-20 and Under-21 level.
