Speaking on talkSPORT’s GameDay Podcast, Trevor Sinclair has been full of praise for Arsenal’s young attacker Gabriel Martinelli.
The Brazilian has been in scintillating form as of late. He netted a brace against Leeds over the weekend, taking his tally to the season for four.
The 20-year-old has now scored three goals in his last two games, and Sinclair has been very impressed by what he’s seen from him.
What’s been said about Martinelli?
Sinclair had nothing but good things to say about Martinelli.
“You have to give massive credit to the kids. They’ve shown resilience, courage, maturity and quality. Martinelli, he’s been a bit injury prone, but we know he’s got something special. He’s lightning quick, he can finish, he’s got a real eye for goal and now he’s beginning to start to show some consistency,” Sinclair said.

Future star
Martinelli has been proving this season that he has what it takes to be an absolute star in the future.
He’s had his injury problems in the past, but now, he’s looking sharper than ever. The forward looks unbelievably composed in front of goal, and as Sinclair says, his pace makes it almost impossible to defend against him.
If Martinelli can improve on his consistency and cement himself as a regular starter at Arsenal, it may not be long before we’re talking about him as one of the Premier League’s top talents.
Martinelli is certainly a player worth keeping an eye on in the years to come.
