The Gunners are trying to get a deal for the defender done this week.

Exciting update for Arsenal fans

In our view, that Arsenal have made a second bid for Ajax defender Jurrien Timber is very encouraging and exciting for the Emirates Stadium faithful.

It indicates that the Gunners are really determined to bring the defender to the club in the summer transfer window.

And the North London outfit want to get a deal done now.

It will be interesting to see what Ajax now do about the second offer from Arsenal.

If Timber is really keen on a move to Arsenal and has agreed personal terms with the North London club, then it is hard to see Ajax stop him from leaving.
