Anderson Talisca’s move to Wolves has been held up.

Anderson Talisca has been on the verge of a move to Wolves for several days, but the deal has still not been clinched.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo reported a fee between Wolves and Benfica has been agreed and he was awaiting a work permit, while outlet Noticias ao Minuto claimed this was approved over the weekend.

The forward posted a picture on Instagram yesterday which appears to explain the hold up – he has been very distracted with off field matters.
Talisca uploaded a picture of his partner after just giving birth to his baby, and for the moment, this is his immediate priority.
Clearly this was no surprise to Talisca and it should not affect his plans long term, but it is likely to delay the deal and means the striker is probably not heading to Molineux over the next couple of days.
While positives will be taken from Benfica’s president’s trip to England to meet with the new Wolves owners at the weekend, even their power and influence over the deal cannot stop this delay.
