Some Barcelona supporters want to keep hold of one of their players after he was linked with a move to Leeds United.

Sport claimed earlier this weekend that Leeds are in talks with Barca over a deal for Rafinha Alcantara.

It is said the Catalan club are firm on their €16 million (around £14.3m) asking price, although the Whites are hoping those demands will be lowered.

Rafinha is, according to Sport, ‘aware that he has to leave’ Camp Nou after spending last season on loan to Celta Vigo and ‘is more than determined to try his luck in the Premier League’, where his older brother, Thiago, could be playing for Liverpool this coming campaign.

But the following Barca fans hope the 27-year-old, who has scored or assisted 20 goals in 90 games for their side, has a change of heart…

Barca are going through something of a crisis at present, with claims that a number of high profile players are either set to depart or wanting to.

The former Everton and Southampton manager Ronald Koeman was recently sworn in and is said to want to add Gini Wijnaldum of Liverpool in Rafinha’s position.
