Matt Le Tissier has said on Stadium Astro that Liverpool fans are going to see the best of Thiago Alcantara now.
The Southampton legend has been impressed by Thiago’s recent performances for Liverpool.
The former Barcelona midfielder scored against FC Porto in the Champions League and against Southampton in the Premier League over the past week.
Le Tissier said about Thiago on Stadium Astro: “He is obviously a very talented boy, and yes, it may have taken him a little bit time to adjust, I think we will see from here on in.
“Whenever Thiago plays, I think he looks very, very comfortable, and we will see the best of him going forward.”
Thiago about to explode for Liverpool
Thiago has had injury problems at Liverpool and has not really been ’great’ for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Well, not on a consistent basis anyway.
However, we know how good he is.
After all, you do not play for Barcelona and Bayern Munich if you are not a classy player.
And Thiago is a classy footballer.
We are now seeing what the 30-year-old is capable of.
In our opinion, if Thiago stays fit and plays regularly, then he will be a massive player for Liverpool this season.
The Reds are aiming to win the Premier League and the Champions League this season.
So, Liverpool will need all of the players, including Thiago, fit and firing throughout the season.
