The Israeli international has established himself as one of the most underrated forwards anywhere in Europe over the last year or so and scored an impressive 29 goals in last season, firing Salzburg to the Austrian Bundesliga title and the Europa League semi-finals.
But should Leeds be scouting Salzburg again? Because another of the Austrian side’s under-the-radar gems is taking Europe by storm this season – Takumi Minamino.
The 23-year-old former Cerezo Osaka attacker was just one of the supporting cast behind Dabbur as Salzburg stunned the likes of Lazio and Dortmund in 2017/18, but he has emerged as a star in his own right in recent weeks.
